Ormiston Road


Ormiston Road is a Victorian residential street in the Royal Borough of Greenwich in  South East London.

Situated next to Westcombe Park railway station it is an ideal location for anyone working in central London or the City.  With the A102(M) also on your doorstep access to North London or Kent is also easy.

A local park, "the Pleasuance"  has a cafe and dog-free childrens play area. Historic Greenwich and Greenwich Park are just a 20 minute walk away as is the O2.

Neighhourhood Ormiston Road is a mainly middle income suburb, but with a mixed and friendly  community covering all ages and incomes.

Travel and Commuting South Eastern Trains: Westcombe Park station for trains to London Bridge, Canon Street, Charring Cross and North Kent.
Underground: Jubilee line at North Greenwich (catch 129 bus)
Buses: Many buses run a frequent service along the Woolwich Road
Airport: City airport is easy to get to and a pleasure to use. Stanstead is the next closest followed by Gatwick.
Eating Out The main locations for eating out are Greenwich and Blackheath with the former catering primarily for tourists and the latter for local residents.  There are also plenty of restaurants at the O2 and dotted along the Woolwich Road, like Efe's Turkish restaurant.
Eating In Indian, Kebab, Chinese and Fish and Chips can all be found in easy walking distance along the Woolwich Road
